​​Dominika Podczaska is a Los Angeles-based Director of Photography working across commercials and narrative projects. She is known for her close collaboration with directors and her sensitivity to performance, atmosphere, and naturalistic light. Her work balances visual precision with emotional restraint, and she approaches each project with care, curiosity, and thoughtful preparation.

With a background in European filmmaking and recent work in the United States, Dominika brings a grounded, calm presence to set and values creative trust as the foundation of strong images. She enjoys projects that leave space for silence, ambiguity, and human complexity, believing cinematography is as much about what is suggested as what is shown.
 

Dominika is a graduate of the American Film Institute Conservatory (MFA in Cinematography) and a member of the Polish Society of Cinematographers (PSC). She is an alumna of the ASC Visionary Mentorship Program and was recognized by PRESS Magazine as one of the Top 10 Directors of Photography to Watch.
 

She is passionate about shooting on 35mm motion picture film and is a co-founder of FDOP - a collective supporting and giving visibility to female cinematographers in Poland. Dominika is currently based in Los Angeles and works internationally.
